Emmett Edward Dunham Ii

Emmett was a sweet dear soul and love. We met in June of 1999 and our relationship grew. By September of 2002 he was gone from my life unbeknown to me. I was to discover he was hospitalized for sudden heart surgery and pulmonary embolism. I was not able to be at his side.

In between that time we weathered much from our families and life situations. His law office was of most importance to him, building it from infancy after serving positions as legal counci, enviromental engeneer, an appointed position for the state he resided in, and the many other corporations he worked for.

I wanted so much more in our relationship which was slowly coming. Emmett had given me so many hints and by time he was ready to give and share with me what he wanted, he was taken HOME. He once said to me that "love is blind" and I totally missed what he was really trying to tell me. I just wanted it in those three special words, however when I look back it was in his actions and personal ways of love.

My heart and soul misses you more so than you ever realize Emmett. No amount of words could change what we had and still have. I can't seem to comprehend why our time together was so short or what all those envisions we had for each other, the conversations of what we both wanted. There is some kind of bond that remains forever with us. I know we were meant to be together with your first magical kiss.

I know he truly missed his father and is now with him. I do not know much more of his family life but bits and pieces and about his children that he dearly loved. Emmett learned of things I had endured with my children and family and the love I had for them. We tried to forget our past and live for the present.

I miss you Emmett and always know I will love you forever. You keep sending me songs of love that keep ringing a reminder of that special love that we bounded over.
